Hidden Hollow - Where Nature and Spirit Meet!

Hidden Hollow Retreat is located in Hawkins County amid the beautiful mountains of Northeast Tennessee.  It is considered a sacred place, dedicated to providing nurturing, learning, play and healing.  We do this by working in harmony with nature and sharing from a place of spiritual authenticity.  It is our intention to hold a vision of balance and wholeness for our guest as well as the planet.  Retreat activities can include full body massage, shamanic healing, spiritual direction, yoga, meditation, fire ceremonies, drumming, hiking, creek walks, silent reflection time, and relaxing in the hot tub.  Along with individual retreat experiences, we hold scheduled workshops throughout the year.  We encourage healers, teachers and visionaries from the community at large to consider utilizing our facility as a place to share your gifts and talents with others.

Spiritual growth and development is the focus of Science of Spirituality Healing Ministry, the non-religious, not-for-profit organization that oversees Hidden Hollow.  Science of Spirituality, the brain child of William Perry, was established in the mid-eighties to promote healing of the body, mind, emotions and spirit.  Our retreat has been at this location since 1996.

Set fees are established only if you are coming for a scheduled workshop or program; otherwise we operate on a donation basis for all accommodations and food.  Our meals are nutritious, delicious and mostly vegetarian.  All food is prepared on site.

The facility has often been described as rustic but not primitive.  Accommodations consist of a main lodge with two guest bedrooms, a community kitchen, bath facilities, and a wrap-around deck overlooking Byrd Creek and Little Copper Mountain.  Various small cabins located throughout the 40-acre property are available for those wishing more private quarters.

The property's forty wooded acres offers plenty of opportunity to commune with the woodlands and her natural beauty.  Wildflowers abound in the spring and early summer.  These give way to the lush green of summer and from there into the majesty of fall's splendid array of gold, orange, purple and yellow provided by a forest of oaks, poplars, sycamores and maples.
